You really *should* read the tournament details yourself at
http://www.mnfirstregional.org/regional/venue#ns. Here are some main
points:
No outside food, saving seats, handing out free food, noisemakers,
loud music. You also must dress like you are going to the shop, closed
toed shoes, and you should wear the team t-shirt (that you should’ve
paid for) and a pair of jeans. We’d like to try to dress similarly,
but it’s fine. Just wear the t-shirt at a minimum.
**Please bring safety glasses if you have your own pair!**
We’ll bring some pairs of our own, but it’d help if team members
picked up some of the slack.

Shipping day is only a few days away and many teams are scrambling to finish their robot, while others are waiting to see if they can get theirs to work at Eagan High School’s mini regional invitational. As for us, FRC Team 3042, the EASTVIEW CONSTANT, we can’t wait to see what others have come up with this year as we draft our own robot into the game.  Time is ticking away, we’ll see you at the games.

Some of the most recent tasks that we have worked on and/or completed is finishing the electronics mount, building the pick up system, and getting our robot driving. Hopefully lets us aim for not this Saturday but for the next Saturday to have our robot in workable conditions in order to compete at the Eagan invitational.

We have an almost finalized CAD drawing on Google Sketch Up . We have defined and understood the main problem to this year’s game, we are at the end of our brainstorming and we are almost ready to build. Before we meet next Thursday, please everyone, read and know the rules of the game. We cannot work together successfully if we all do not do this easy 10 minute thing.
